There were several objections to erect three internet towers in Magnetawan in order to improve broadband service. Spectrum Telecom Group addressed the concerns and town council approved a resolution that allows the towers to go up. Spectrum also received support from a number of residents for its internet towers proposal.

Magnetawan council has cleared the way for Spectrum Telecom Group to erect three internet towers in the municipality that will improve broadband service.
CENGN, which stands for Canada’s Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks, has identified that Magnetawan and nearby Ahmic Harbour have significant broadband deficiencies.
