Clare FM 6th January 2021 The UL Hospitals Group has deferred the majority of scheduled surgery and outpatients appointments across five of it’s hospitals in the Midwest until further notice. The move impacts hospitals including University Hospital Limerick and Ennis General, and all affected patients are being contacted directly.
CONTINUE READING BELOW The majority of scheduled surgery and outpatients appointment across UHL, Ennis General, Nenagh, St John’s and Croom Hospitals are being deffered to prioritise high volumes of emergency Covid and non-Covid patients. The UL Hospitals Group says University Maternity Hospital Limerick is unaffected. Patients whose appointment or procedure is being affected are being contacted by the hospital in advance and the reductions in service are being kept under review by the UL Hospitals Group Crisis Management Team.
