(Pic: Pascal Maitre) Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) has recently obtained the Department of Standards Malaysia’s recognition under the Laboratory Accreditation Scheme of Malaysia (SAMM). MPOB Director-General Dr Ahmad Parveez Ghulam Kadir said the accreditation could enhance the results from studies and analyses in MPOB’s laboratories at the international level. He added that the recognition was for the efficiency of the MPOB’s Food Safety and Quality Laboratory’s management system in the Analytical and Quality Development Unit under its Product Development and Advisory Services Division.
