Man, 29, killed after being struck by two vehicles, including hit and run driver, on I-190 By Charlie McKenna Globe Correspondent,Updated April 16, 2021, 11:23 a.m. Email to a Friend A 29-year-old man was killed Thursday night after being struck by two different vehicles, including one who allegedly fled the scene of the crash, while walking in the area of the median strip on Interstate 190 in Sterling, State Police said. Troopers responded to the crash around 9 p.m. Thursday, after receiving a report of a pedestrian struck on I-190 northbound, according to a statement from State Police spokesman David Procopio. The 29-year-old man, of Orange, was driving a 2019 Subaru WRX that âwent out of controlâ while heading southbound on I-190 and crossed over the median into the northbound lanes of the highway.
