Port Huron Times Herald A man charged for allegedly killing another man aboard the retired Navy ship Grayfox rejected a plea offer Monday and will most likely head to trial. Reginald Grasty, 43, who is charged with open murder and disinterment/mutilation of a corpse, rejected an offer to plead guilty to second-degree murder. St. Clair County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Paul Soderberg said the prosecution will pursue a blood pattern recognition report to investigate blood spatters onboard the Grayfox, which will take between three and six months to complete. The prosecution anticipates that the evidence uncovered by the investigation will aid in a first-degree premeditated murder theory.
