Man accused of trying to force way into Maine elementary school

A Maine man is accused of trying to force his way into an elementary school Thursday morning.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to Strong Elementary School just after 8 a.m.Sign up for our Newsletters
Deputies said Christian Richards, 27, of Strong, went to the school and became upset with school officials.
Richards is accused of banging on windows and trying to force his way into the school.
Deputies said school officials placed the school into lockdown and called 911.
