Kimberley Flying Squad arrested a man after he was found with suspected stolen property. It is alleged that on 06 May 2021 at about 04:00, members were doing their normal patrol duties when they stopped and searched a man riding a bicycle. The following items were found in his possession, a bike battery, two cell phones, headphones, vehicle jack, and a knife, which the suspect could not give a reasonable explanation of where he got them. All items valued at approximately R17 000-00 were confiscated and the suspect was arrested. He is expected to appear in Kimberley Magistrates’ Court soon on a charge of possession of suspected stolen goods.
