View Comments A man was arrested after police said he assaulted a person and repeatedly crashed a vehicle into an occupied home early Saturday morning in Yuma. At about 2:46 a.m., Yuma police responded to a report of a disturbance near Seventh Street and First Avenue and found a vehicle backing up after hitting a residence. Police said they later learned that Eduardo Gonzalez, 36, physically assaulted a resident of that home and then hit the occupied residence multiple times with his vehicle. One person was treated for minor injuries, said Sgt. Lori Franklin, a spokesperson for Yuma police. Gonzalez was arrested on suspicion of several felony charges, including attempted homicide, Franklin said.
