Police conducted extensive patrols but no one was found. It’s common for people to knock on doors to see if anyone is home before breaking in, police said. If someone who knocks tells you they’re at the wrong house, call police so they can assess the situation, they said. The suspect is described as about five-foot-eight with shoulder-length brown hair, a dark complexion and a slim build. He was wearing a high-visibility vest and black shorts, and was carrying a bag.
