(WMBF) – Authorities arrested a Darlington man in connection with a deadly shooting last fall at a Florence County motel. According to information from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Marquell Tony Moore was charged March 1 with accessory after the fact of murder. The charge stems from the Sept. 11, 2020 shooting at the Florence Inn and Suites that killed 36-year-old Detrick Gibbons, authorities said. RELATED: According to investigators, after the shooting, Moore, along with others, allegedly moved and concealed evidence, and failed to notify law enforcement or medical staff, or render aid to the victim.
