A 20-year-old Orleans, Ont., man charged in a fatal stabbing New Year’s morning is to appear by video remand in North Bay Feb. 10.
Ghislain Nsengiyumva was charged Saturday morning with second-degree murder, uttering threats to cause death, assault with a weapon and two counts of assault.

He appeared by video remand in Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay Wednesday.
North Bay police responded to a call shortly after 2:30 a.m. on New Year’s Day to a location on Jane Street for a person in need of medical assistance.
