Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Plowing Vehicle Into Police Station, Attacking Officers On 5/24/21 at 3:53 PM EDT A Maryland man was charged with attempted murder after plowing his vehicle into a police station and attacking several police officers. The incident began on Sunday at approximately 9:34 p.m. when a man called the police station and said he was planning on coming there to "kill a police officer," according to a Facebook post from the Havre de Grace Police Department. The man was identified by police as 24-year-old Timothy Joel Jackson Kahl, whose residence is in the 400 block of Village Drive. Police said that based on information they received during the phone call, they believed Kahl was at his home. When officers arrived there, they noticed him "driving erratically."
