Scottie M. Musgraves, 19, of the 1200 block of State Street, Alton, was charged May 11 with obstructing justice, a Class 4 felony. The charge had been sealed until Monday. Musgraves is accused of concealing a .40 caliber handgun used in the murder of DeAndre Brewster, in Alton, on May 2. A 17-year-old Granite City youth, Chance L. Singleton, has been charged as an adult in the murder.
