gvogrin@tribtoday.com WARREN — A Youngstown man who had a Taser used on him after running from a Warren police traffic stop in late October faces a gun charge in U.S. District Court for Northern Ohio. Jermaine McCree, 44, of 2418 Wydesteel Ave., Youngstown, appeared by video arraignment before Magistrate Judge Jonathan D. Greenberg on a charge of having a weapon as a felon. The federal docket shows McCree pleaded not guilty to the charge and remains in federal custody. The case was assigned to federal Judge Christopher A. Boyko of Cleveland, who has not set another hearing. According to federal documents, the federal charge stems from the Oct. 28 incident in Warren that began in the parking lot of the Hamphsire House on Fifth Street SW.
