The Hopkinsville Police Department is asking for assistance in gathering info regarding a drive-by shooting that left a man in the hospital Friday morning, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department Facebook post. According to HPD Public Information Officer Mike Atkins, Dacoreous Stubbs, 20, was shot by a unknown individual Friday morning after a vehicle pulled up to a home on Princeton Road, shot Stubbs while he was outside and then fled the area in an unknown direction. Stubbs was transported to Jennie Stuart Health where he was then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where he is reportedly still being treated as of Monday.
