A man who was pinned between a car and a gas pump in at a Gettysburg gas station in March has died from his injuries, the York County Coroner announced.
Steven Walde, 70, was pumping gas around 9:26 a.m. at the Sheetz at 30 Camp Letterman Drive in Straban Township when a pickup driven by Michael Carter drove through a gas pump and into Walde’s car, police said previously.
Walde’s wife, 65-year-old wife Guadalupe Walde, was trapped inside the car.
Police previously described Walde’s injuries as nearly amputating his foot, while also suffering severe injuries throughout his body. He was expected to survive at the time.
