Austin M. Losee, 22, on April 22 appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Janet M. Boes and pleaded no contest to the lone count he faced of failure to stop at a personal injury accident resulting in serious injury or death.
The charge is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
In a prior Cobbs hearing, Boes indicated she would sentence Losee to probation with no initial incarceration. A Cobbs hearing sees a judge outline the likely sentence should a defendant be convicted.
