SAGINAW, MI — A Sebewaing man is newly convicted of trying to rob a woman at knifepoint as she was leaving her shift at Buffalo Wild Wings, a crime he couldn’t complete when his victim fought him off and chased him down.
Justin V. Sabin, 39, on Tuesday, April 27, appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Manvel Trice III and pleaded no contest to assault with intent to rob while armed, a life offense. In exchange, Saginaw County Assistant Prosecutor Sara Brady agreed to dismiss a count of prisoner in possession of contraband, a charge from a separate case brought against Sabin after his arrest on the prior charge.
