Author: 13 ON YOUR SIDE Staff Published: 12:59 PM EDT April 9, 2021 Updated: 5:23 PM EDT April 9, 2021 GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — On Friday around 11:50 a.m., a man was shot dead inside Stuyvesant Apartments located on 140 Madison Ave. SE. GRPD Sgt. John Wittkowski said that shooting took place inside an apartment and police are still looking for the suspect. A 28-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a residence and later died at the scene from his wound. GRPD says a person of interest is being sought out at this time. Detectives from the Major Case Team were called to the scene to investigate, along with members of the Forensic Services Unit.
