Man shot in leg on Saginaw’s West Side Updated 1:06 PM; SAGINAW, MI — Police are investigating a shooting on Saginaw’s West Side. About 9:55 p.m. on Monday, April 26, police responded to the shooting scene in the 900 block of North Mason Street. They arrived to find a 34-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound to his leg, said Michigan State Police Lt. Lizabeth Rich. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The wounded man told police he had been walking on the sidewalk when he was shot, Rich said. Police do not currently have any suspects in the matter.
