WCCB Charlotte's CW March 3, 2021 CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — A traffic stop ended with a man being shot twice by deputies after he reportedly pulled a gun out following a brief pursuit in Caldwell County, according to a news release. Deputies with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Deerbrook Road and Rocky Road in Lenoir on March 3rd just before 2am due to suspicious activity, according to a news release.
