A boxer is to flip a car for 24 hours non-stop to help raise money for Blackburn charities. Bill Hodgson is no stranger to taking on gruelling challenges having pulled a sleigh complete with Santa between Fleetwood and Kirkham this Christmas. He is now planning to flip a car for 24 hours on Saturday June 12 and set a new record in the process. The charities benefitting from the fundraiser include the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, Lancashire Mind, Donna’s Dream House, New Start, ACE and UR Potential. In addition to this, money raised will assist 8-year-old Malachy Spriggs who suffers from several life-limiting conditions. The team want to buy an off-road buggy so he can visit the countryside.
