manich@leaderherald.com GLOVERSVILLE — A high-speed vehicle pursuit crossing two counties involving multiple police agencies and a crash Friday night has culminated in a current search for a wanted suspect driver, who may have been injured. Law enforcement officials said the chase started in the city of Gloversville and ended in Montgomery County. Gloversville police Lt. Brad Schaffer, the department’s public information officer, said today the pursuit started at about 7:15 p.m. Friday on South Main Street, but was terminated by Gloversville police on Route 30A. Witnesses from across the area saw police activity from Gloversville to Fonda. Montgomery County Sheriff Jeff Smith said today that Harold A. Nelson, 29, is being sought by his agency in connection with an accident after the chase on Route 5 in the town of Mohawk.
