MANCHESTER — The Select Board agreed Tuesday to continue its loosened restrictions on businesses instituted last year early in the pandemic.
Referred to as its COVID-19 relief for businesses, the Select Board voted last year to grant some leeway to businesses who found their dining rooms closed by the government-ordered shutdown to help fight the spread of the virus.
Business owners were allowed to move some seating outside if feasible. The effort to get more people outside and spread out mean that businesses could, in some cases, use some of their parking lot for outdoor dining, as well as sidewalks.
