Manila's e-Bus to give free rides to workers, residents

The Manila city government unveiled on Monday (March 8) the COMET, a fully electric minibus that will soon roll down the streets of Manila.

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan, and Global Electric Transport (GET) Philippines Chief Executive Officer Freddie Tinga led the ceremonial ride on Monday (March 8) around the city.
The COMET, through the GET PASS application, enables contract tracing among passengers as it will locate where the passengers are from and their destinations.
