Mayhem in B’baria: Cops recover 20 snatched bullets Photo: Collected Star Report Star Report Police on Friday night recovered 20 bullets which were snatched from a cop by some Hefajat-e-Islam activists in Brahmanbaria's Nandanpur area on March 27. Meanwhile, three more cases were filed in Narayanganj on Friday in connection with vandalism over the confinement of Hefajat Joint Secretary General Mamunul Haque to a resort in the district's Sonargaon on April 3. Police recovered the bullets from a sweetmeat shop in Suhilpur Bazar of Brahmanbaria, said Md Imtiaz Ahammed, officer-in-charge at the Special Branch(SB) of police. Law enforcers also arrested two people from Brahmanbaria's Suhilpur on Friday in connection with the recovery of the bullets. The arrestees -- Arab Ali, 40, of Dakshin Kendubari village, and Monir Mia, 42, of Suhilpur village in Sadar upazila, -- are fruit traders.
