He might have received a backlash for Eskom’s failure to deal with load-shedding, but President Cyril Ramaphosa proved that he still enjoys huge support in the Eastern Cape after he was given a raucous welcome when he visited Nkantolo village in rural Mbizana on Wednesday. Ramaphosa was in the area to officially hand over a new preschool in Nkantolo, the birth village of the ANC’s longest serving president, Oliver Reginald Tambo.
