Shares The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has launched MDEC Innovation Exchange (MIX), a programme that will see the agency connecting large corporations with local tech startups and scaleups. It’s apparently aimed at accelerating the digitalisation of the economy while also giving a helping hand to local technology players. ADVERTISEMENT MDEC laid out the various ways it will act as a bridge between corporations and startups. Firstly, the agency will help participating corporations identify problems that need rectifying within their respective organisations. Then, it will advise them on the right solutions required for their digital transformation. Accordingly, MDEC will connect the corporations to a pool of over 800 tech startups and scaleups that can provide solutions or proofs of concept (POCs). Naturally, it will do this by curating a list of relevant solution providers based on the corporation’s problem statements.
