By News Room May 10, 2021 | 3:51 PM The province’s Municipal Economic Enhancement Program continues to help many communities with projects that support economic recovery. “A total of 760 municipalities in Saskatchewan have received funds through MEEP,” Government Relations Minister Don McMorris said. “This $150 million program has gone a long way in helping our communities recover from the economic impact of COVID-19, and will result in many long-term benefits for Saskatchewan families.” The $150 million MEEP program was announced in May 2020 and is a key component of the Government of Saskatchewan’s $7.5 billion, two-year capital plan to build a strong province and stimulate its economic recovery from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
