Zomato's public offer is
set to open on July 14 in what would be a significant moment not just for the food-delivery and restaurant discovery company but also the broader startup ecosystem. Its cofounder and chief executive Deepinder Goyal announced the company's intention to go public a year ago, in the midst of the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, which hit restaurants and food-deliveries hard.
