Melaka cops nab suspected armed robber, female accomplice af

MELAKA: Melaka police detained the alleged female accomplice of an alleged armed robber here following a high-speed chase drama at a usually quiet housing estate in Jalan Kesidang, Kampung Lapan, here.
Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali said the 42-year-old woman from Tangkak, Johor, had previously tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 25,2020, and underwent compulsory quarantine before returning to crime.
He said both the suspects are also lovers.
DCP Abdul Majid said a team from the Melaka Criminal Investigation Department had intercepted the 38-year-old robber and the woman while the two were coming out from a motel room at Jalan Ong Kim Wee here at 12.40pm Monday (Jan 11).
