(Shutterstock) MENIFEE, CA — Menifee police asked Monday for the public's help identifying a motorist who struck and killed a woman on Highway 74, then fled the scene. The deadly hit-and-run happened about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 27300 block of the highway, near Trumble Road, on the north end of the city, according to the Menifee Police Department. Lt. Abigail Valle said the victim, whose identity has not been confirmed, was walking alongside the corridor when she was hit by a pickup truck going in an unknown direction, at an unknown speed.
