Mesilla authorities find cache of guns, drugs in car pulled over for broken headlight

MESILLA – The Mesilla Marshals Department found multiple firearms and a large bag of narcotics inside a vehicle stopped for a broken headlight, Wednesday. 
Driver Angel Garcia De Leon was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on charges from an outstanding warrant of receiving stolen property between $250 to $2,500, and receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle.
Charges are pending pertaining to the items found in his vehicle, authorities said.
