Geminid Meteor Shower: Space enthusiasts can witness the spectacular Geminid meteor shower on December 14 and 15 across the country. The shower, caused by the Palladian asteroid 3200 Phaethon, is expected to have 100 to 130 meteors per hour between 1 am and 3 am. In addition, a new meteor shower associated with comet 46P/Wirtanen is also expected.
