The Mountain Home High School basketball teams came away with a split on Friday at Siloam Springs. The Bomber boys came from behind to force overtime and went on to beat the Panthers 53-47. After Mountain Home went up 4-2, Siloam Springs followed with a 10-0 run. For much of regulation, the Panthers had the advantage, which got into double digits in the third quarter. But the Bombers forced Siloam Springs into 21 turnovers, allowing them to claw their way back. Jake McGehee hit a three in the corner with less than two minutes left to tie the game at 43, and that would force the extra period. Mountain Home struck first in overtime for the second and final lead change of the night. The Panthers were held to a couple of layups, and the Bombers later posted the six-point win.
