Millions tuned in to watch series one when it was aired on the BBC in January, after first being shown on Alibi in 2019. 
And Michael Nardone who plays D.I. Neil McKinven was spotted filming season two of the hit crime drama Traces in Stockport on Monday.
The actor, 54, looked smart in a grey suit and blue shirt which he wore under a stylish grey coat to shoot the new scenes.
