Middletown names Deborah Houser assistant superintendent Sue Kiesewetter MIDDLETOWN – Deborah Houser will fill the newly created assistant superintendent position in the Middletown City School District. A 13-year veteran of the district, Houser is the district’s senior director of human resources. In her new role, she will be paid $132,000 annually. “I am truly excited for this opportunity and I am very honored the board has the belief in me and the willingness to support my continuing as the assistant superintendent,’’ Houser said. “I’ve been able to work with every group in our district. Building relationships with everyone is a catalyst to me continuing our work in the vision and mission of our district.”
