Tuesday, Dec. 15 7:08 p.m. — Deputies responded to a vehicle crash in Homer Township. 6:02 p.m. — Officers responded to a vehicle crash in the area of Sturgeon Avenue and City Forest Estates Drive. 1:14 p.m. — A detective spoke with a 50-year-old Midland woman about a possible scam that her elderly mother is involved in. Her mother, an 86-year-old Coleman resident, is allegedly fencing money and other items for a man with a "foreign accent." It was discovered that another law enforcement agency has been involved in this matter and the information was turned over to that agency.
