Cabinet set to approve the right to access birth certs for adopted people

Adopted people will be given the opportunity to scrutinise proposed legislation that will give them access to their early life information.
The Children's Minister Roderic O' Gorman is bringing the heads of the Birth Information and Tracing bill before Cabinet this morning.
Under the current law, adopted people aren't entitled to their birth records.
The Government promised the new legislation after the mother and baby homes report was published in January.
Breeda Murphy of the Tuam Mother and Baby Home Alliance says the Minister is giving those affected a chance to look at the proposed bill, but they've some concerns:
