About 50% of Millennials and Gen Z surveyed globally are anxious and stressed most of the time during the Covid-19 pandemic. Topping the list of worries are long-term financial future, career prospects, welfare of their families, day-to-day financials and least worrisome include physical and medical health.The top three concerns of Millennials in Malaysia are economic growth (32%), unemployment (31%), and healthcare diseases prevention (26%). In comparison, the Gen Z list tops with healthcare diseases and prevention (32%), political, war or conflict between countries (29% ) and protection of personal data (28%). One in five Millennials feels discriminated against all the time or frequently because of an aspect of his or her background. About 40% do not feel their employers have done enough to support their mental well-being during the pandemic, Deloitte say.
