Residents in Grand Bay-Westfield will notice some action on River Valley Drive over the next couple of months as construction crews develop two new apartment complexes for Millennium Estates. The Rothesay-based company announced on July 16 it would expand to the town with two 12-unit developments. The properties will be located behind the local Guardian and Scotiabank, complete with bay views of the Saint John River. Andrew Dunn, owner of Millennium Estates, said in an interview Monday each apartment will include two bedrooms and one-and-a-half bathrooms and be outfitted with island kitchens, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
