Saxton Volunteer Fire Company personnel were called shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday for a possible missing person. Reports indicate that 86-year old Gilbert Hoover had gone for a walk and hadnât returned after a routine period of time. A search by Saxton volunteers was initiated and Hoover was located lying in a field not far from his residence and was unable to get up. Once he was located and removed from the field, he was placed into and awaiting Saxton ambulance and warmed up. He was later taken back to his residence and family. The call ended shortly before 11 p.m.
