The Canterbury Kings will play the Wellington Firebirds in Sunday's T20 Super Smash final after a stunning last-over win against the Central Stags.
Will Young's rapid century looked to have the Stags on track for victory and with the Kings 35/4 in the 6th over, chasing 181, the task was stiff for the red and blacks.
But Blackcaps all-rounder Daryl Mitchell (88) and wicket-keeper Cam Fletcher (72) added 132 on 81 balls to swing momentum back to the Kings.
Mitchell was out in the penultimate over, caught by Ross Taylor off Blair Tickner, with the target still 11 runs away.
