MoI books 495 for violating Covid-19 precautionary measures

Doha: Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials have intensified efforts to take action against individuals violating various Covid-19 precautionary measures in the country and have reported 495 violations in the country. 
471 were booked for not wearing masks in public while 9 were found violating the limit allowed in a vehicle, which is specified as four persons, including the driver, except for members of the same family. 
The Ministry booked 8 persons for not installing the Ehteraz application and another 7 were referred for not maintaining safe social distancing. 
The officials referred them to the Public Prosecution for violations.
