MOI refers 386 to prosecution for Covid-19 violations

Doha: Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials have intensified their efforts to take action against individuals violating Covid-19 precautionary measures in the country and have reported 386 violations in the country.  
The officials referred them to the Public Prosecution for their violations. 
337 were booked for not wearing masks in public while 44 were found violating the limit allowed in a vehicle, which is specified as four persons, including the driver, except for members of the same family. 
The Ministry also referred 2 persons for not maintaining social distancing and 3 for not installing the Ehteraz application. 
Till now 14,169 people have been referred to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks and 568 people for not following the limit of people inside a vehicle.
