Monadnock Ledger-Transcript Published: 6/3/2021 12:08:22 PM An announcement regarding the future of the Bond Wellness Center is expected on July 1, Monadnock Community Hospital spokesperson Laura Gingras said on Wednesday. “At this time, no decision has been made about restoring the Bond Wellness Center’s fitness membership programming,” she wrote in a statement. The hospital’s Board of Trustees are evaluating the wellness center’s best use moving forward, she said, in light of the financial pressures the COVID-19 pandemic put on all hospitals. The Wellness Center closed at the start of the pandemic to protect patients, employees, and the community from COVID-19. Currently, the facility’s fitness floor and pools are being used for physical therapy and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, Gingras said.
