Last modified: 3/13/2014 12:37:02 PM PETERBOROUGH — A man walking on Route 202 near South Meadow School was hit by a car and killed Friday evening. According to Peterborough Police Chief Scott Guinard, Michael Dugrenier, 51, of Peterborough was hit by a 2012 Cooper driven by Peter Blais, 34, of Concord, who was driving north at about 6:30 p.m. Dugrenier was pronounced dead at the scene. In a press release, Guinard said the exact cause of the accident is not known. The accident is being investigated by Peterborough police and a state police Technical Reconstruction Team. Guinard said Blais stopped his car, which had heavy front-end damage, after the accident.
