What are Monster Hunter Rise bones used for? Bones are just one of many items you'll obtain during quests in Monster Hunter Rise, which can then be used to craft and upgrade armour and weapons for you and your companions. These can be gathered from Bone Piles and as rewards from specific hunts. Bone Piles are fairly common to find across the maps, signalled by a monster skeleton icon. Once you approach one you'll see the carcass of a monster glowing. You only need to approach it and press the button prompt. Note that you can gather Ore while riding your Palamute.
