The country's real gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast for 2022 was also increased - to 5% from 4% predicted in November, the ratings agency said in its updated Global Macro Outlook 2021-22 report published earlier this week. According to Moody's, Turkey's economy is estimated to have expanded by 1.1% in 2020, which compares to a contraction of 5.5% forecast in the previous edition of the report. Turkey's consumer price inflation is seen at 11.4% in 2021, while in 2022 it is expected to slow down to 10%, Moody's said in the updated report.
