Morvant man gunned down while walking to work Stock photo Police are investigating the murder of a 38-year-old Mon Repos man after an early-morning shooting on Tuesday. Police said handyman Adisa Williams was walking to work on Mon Repos Road with a friend at around 4.10 am when a man dressed in black confronted them andshot Williams once. Williams's friend ran away. Williams tried to run away but was shot in the chest by another man who was hiding behind a parked car. Residents heard the gunshots and called the police. Morvant police went to the scene and found Williams' body.
